Simple, sleek sophistication best describes the elegant lines of this silver plated WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik) liqueur/aperitif set.
This stunning set is comprised of 6 goblet-shaped liqueur glasses with gilt chalices on a shapely pedestal foot. The matching tray has a scalloped shape with beaded rim. Each goblet measures 5 inches tall (13 cm) and the tray is 10 inches long (25 cm).
The tray and base of each goblet are impressed with the complete WMF hallmarks: running stork, XO and I/O quality marks.
Made in Germany in the the 1920’s, the WMF quality and craftsmanship is evident in this timeless and classic set. With its understated elegance, this lovely liqueur set makes a bright and beautiful statement – just as it did nearly 100 years ago.
Condition:
Overall, the set is in excellent condition – very shiny and bright with no pitting. The tray has minor scratches commensurate with age and wear.
