From the Micro Racer series (1964), this diecast 1928 Mercedes SSK is in mint condition. The clockwork mechanism is fully working, along with the on-off switch and steering dial at the back of the car.

Made by the world famous German firm Schuco, the Micro Racers – in the approximate scale of 1:40 – were available from 1954 and quickly became the latest craze in the world of clockwork cars.

Commensurate with the quality of Schuco, Micro Racers featured heavy die-cast bodies, extremely fast and long-running spring-drive mechanisms, and micro-adjustment wheel control for precise direction runs.

Condition:
Mint condition. Excellent paintwork with no chips, dents or scratches. A truly fine example of the quality of Schuco cars.
